My bf told me yesterday that he has decided to stop studying for this sem. He will be looking for a job. When I asked him why, he said he wanted to experience how hard it was to earn money. After what has happened to him recently at school and knowing how he wanted to spare another drama talk with his mom, I believe it was a very mature decision from him. It would really help out his family and because of that, I will support him all the way. Just like what he did when it was I who stopped studying and had to look for a job.
His decision made me also think of ways to earn a bit of cash. I've lurked around forums, joined online contests of some magazines' websites, and lurked around some more. I'm planning to sell some of the books here in our house (and the ones left in my grandma's house) so that I could at least earn a little bit of cash. I'm even planning to include the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix book. It was a hard decision for me since it was a gift given to me by my former work colleague. I just hope my dad and brother approve of it. They're the ultimate book lovers here in our house.
